Traditionally, Expospaces has been a specialist in building exhibition stands. More than 30 years ago, we started with modular, reusable booth construction. Increasingly, we are building exhibition stands using many more natural materials. We think carefully about footprint, reuse and recycling for all stand components. Think about floors that we use over and over again, walls made of reusable frames, recyclable ceilings and reusable furniture.

More than just reusable and recyclable:

As mentioned, we think carefully about the footprint, reuse and recycling of the materials we use in our booths. But there’s more! For example, consider the following:

• We advise our clients to rent the same booth space for several years. This allows us to go for a similar design of the booth. This saves on the creation of parts, is less environmentally damaging and also saves on costs.
• Instead of dumping visuals and logo panels directly into the dumpster after every trade show and reprinting them for the next trade show, think with us about reusing the visuals This is not only good for the environment, it also saves you money!
• We often opt for an LED screen in the booth. An LED screen in your booth attracts visitors and reduces the amount of printed material you need!
• Every trade show booth increasingly contains electronics. We look for energy-efficient options whenever possible.
• We recommend avoiding printed materials. Consider handouts, programs, flyers, brochures, goodie bags or business cards, for example. Instead, opt for a mobile app or other digital option to avoid waste.
• Packaging, for example bubble wrap, cardboard boxes or plastic boxes, is often discarded immediately after it is used. New packaging is then used again for the return trip. We use sustainable, reusable packaging.
• Whenever possible, our employees travel to the fair location by train. Often trade fair locations have excellent access to public transportation. If we do go by car, we carpool. Abroad, we try to fly directly without stopovers.
