Sustainable stands

Reusable constructions, recyclable items

Many exhibition stands designed and built by Expospaces are sustainably manufactured with minimal environmental impact. We’ve been doing this for almost thirty years! Sustainable and modular thinking is in our DNA. Many exhibition venues stipulate this, yet we still see trucks full of pallets of chipboard being delivered, after which a saw goes into action to cut everything to size on-site. After the exhibition, these stands usually disappear straight into the container. It’s incomprehensible that this is still possible in this day and age.

We work with the modular, reusable beMatrix system. We combine this with custom-made details, resulting in a customized solution. Because many of our clients attend trade fairs frequently, we manufacture many sustainable components that are packaged for repeated use. If a single-use component is required, we use recyclable materials like cardboard. We work with products that adhere to a circular economy, making conscious, green choices in every detail.

Realize your sustainable stand with Expospaces

We build stands from natural materials. We carefully consider the footprint, reuse, and recycling of every aspect of our stand. Besides choosing materials, we also consider, for example, the reuse of visuals, eco-friendly transport, smart packaging, and the use of energy-efficient electronics.

More tips for sustainable stand construction

  • Rent the same booth space for multiple years. This allows us to maintain a similar setup. This reduces the production of components, has a lower environmental impact, and also saves money.
  • Don’t throw visuals and logo panels in the trash, but consider reusing them. This is not only good for the environment, it also saves you money!
  • Choose an LED screen for your booth. This will attract visitors and reduce your need for printed materials!
  • Look for energy-efficient options for electronics in the booth.
  • Avoid printed materials like handouts, programs, flyers, brochures, or business cards. Choose an app or other digital option!
  • Packaging, such as bubble wrap, boxes, or plastic containers, is often thrown away immediately. Use reusable packaging.
  • Like our crew, take the train to the fair or consider carpooling. When traveling abroad, try to fly directly without layovers.
