To make Sherwin Williams’ Business & Technical Centre (BTC) Covid-19 proof and also keep it workable, we have made a number of effective modifications to various training rooms. Sherwin Williams, with approximately 60,000 employees, serves many customers in more than 100 countries with the best paint and coating products. At the BTC in Lelystad, (paint spraying) training courses are given to customers throughout the year. Because of Covid-19, it was necessary to make some adjustments.

The procedure will be changed and participants will receive clear instructions with the invitation that explain the new protocol.

The protocol consists of a number of components:

• Each participant is assigned a color by which they can identify their own (syringe) supplies and location
• At the entrance and other strategic places, the participant can disinfect his hands
• At the reception desk, the participant receives his (spray) supplies, color, door handle hook and mouth mask
• Assembly, restroom and instructional areas are provided with clear signage
• The instructor ensures that participants move through the various rooms in the appropriate safe manner and take their seats in appropriate places
