Expospaces built the vaccination location in Tiel for GGD Gelderland Zuid. For now, only healthcare workers are vaccinated at the Tiel location: they receive the vaccine from manufacturer AstraZeneca. After waiting one and a half meters at the registration post, ‘prickers’, recognizable by the green polo shirts, put the vaccine in the upper arms of the care staff.

The Tiel vaccination site has fourteen shot lines. It means that, when it comes down to it, fourteen people can be vaccinated against the coronavirus every three minutes. According to GGD Gelderland-Zuid, a maximum of 2,500 people can be vaccinated per day, depending on the amount of vaccine available.
